Can Digus - Mediterranean Apartments - Fornells

Location to the beach and town is fantastic. The swimming pool is spotless and well maintained. The apartment was very clean. It has all you would need and more. Fornells is lovely and authentic. The restaurant belonging to the apartment is fab. The staff are helpful and friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at Can Digus. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Fornells, with restaurants, bars and shops all within easy walking distance. There’s plenty of parking just a few minutes’ walk away, and you can pull up directly outside the apartments to drop off luggage. You can even go for a swim in the sea just across the road. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay, and the pool area felt secluded, peaceful and private. Our son especially loved the splash pool. The apartment itself was very comfortable. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, and the kitchenette was really well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washing machine too, which turned out to be incredibly useful when travelling with a messy toddler!

Very little. If I had to mention one small thing, our ground-floor apartment was next to the restaurant, so staff would occasionally pass by our terrace before and during service. There was only a net curtain over the patio doors, so in the evening with the lights on there was a little less privacy than there might have been with a heavier curtain or blind. It was only a very minor point though, and you could always close the shutters if you wanted complete privacy. We never felt the need to, and it certainly didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay. In fact, being on the ground floor and able to walk straight out towards the pool was a much bigger positive. We had a lovely stay and would happily return.

It was located in a great area, however difficult to park nearby. The pool in the middle was nice. Our apartment was spacious with a good sized bedroom, wardrobe, bathroom and kitchen and living space with space outside too.

The cooking facilities weren’t great. When we used the kettle it smelled very strong of burning plastic and was boiling when we picked it up by the handle. The oven also wasn’t working, we tried many times and no gas was coming out. There was also a very strong sewage smell from the bathroom which was very pungent. It wasn’t the most soundproof either, you could hear everything upstairs and next to us.
