Location was great right across the street from Beppu station. A lot of shops and restaurants in area. Room was clean and roomy.. more than I expected! Public bath was nice too and hot!
Staff and service was amazing and they were do helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great too.
Only thing was the bathroom. In Japan a lot of the hotel bathrooms are stepped up which I have to remember in the middle of the night. But rest of room and amenities were great.

Location. Staff friendly. Quite a large room, by Japanese standards
One tiny elevator, some noise from fridge and AC. Strange smell in the room (mold?)
