Was comfortable and good location to visit family

Had some family come visit from out of state to attend a festival @ Discovery park.
The home overall was clean and appeared to be generally pretty well kept. Nothing really closeby/walkable but thats ok.
Pretty busy neighborhood, hard to park on the street, but two spots available to park in garage. Short trip to downtown Sac area. Ubers cost about 15-25 depending on time of day/surge.
Would overall recommend.

My 2 girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend- great location, clean home with the bonus of Netflix! We had a great stay in this quiet neighborhood and felt very safe!

The check in communication was complicated and last minute (probably our fault fir not understanding the requirements to provide ID and credit card info 48 hours prior to arrival). The property manager did help us without much delay. It was pretty much what we expected and served us well. We had a relaxing time here. There were a few maintenance items needing care but nothing significant. It was clean, quiet, and minimally appointed. I would not call this luxury living.

Only thing I could find wrong was kitchen could use more baking sheets and better canopen and for aweek long stay more then one roll of paper towels and more trash bags.

This property is clean, comfortable, and chic looking. Best part of the property is the AC! Guaranteed to stay cool in 100-temperature weather. Property Manager, Teya, is beyond fantastic. She was able to accommodate my same day request due to a family emergency. She has multiple properties. In fact, I'm staying at her Milan location over the next month - and when I think it can't get any better, it does. I highly recommend any of her properties.

As with the previous review, I found the final check-in process the most negative part of this VRBO experience. As the hour approached for us to get our code to enter the Dragon House, we were stuck in a massive traffic jam caused by a major accident and many miles away from arriving in Sacramento, while our daughter, son-in-law, and two-year-old twin grandsons had traveled a different route and were close to being at our destination. I called the number that I had been directed to on the VRBO Dragon House info sheet, and after a couple attempts I connected with Teya, who explained that I was expected to now provide a photo copy of my driver’s license and a credit card. A definite pain in the ass to have to deal with while also dealing with our traffic hurdles and communicating with our daughter about the situation. I did later find the email link to our VRBO account from Stefan (why all of a sudden Stefan?) that had arrived that morning (after we were already on the road) informing us that this additional indentation would be required. Why? We had already paid the full amount to VRBO by credit card, plus service fee. And if this info is so damn important, why wait until the last minute? Day of travel is stressful enough without this being tossed at the arriving renter. If you need this info, management company, you should be asking for it at least a day before renter is in travel mode. Fortunately, Teya got us through this frustrating situation and finally we all got ourselves to the Dragon House and settled in. But here again there were contradictions between the original info on the VRBO site and the info we received in the message from Stefan. The code is not for the garage door, but is for the front door. You cannot park in the driveway. There are no trashcans in the bedrooms to be emptied (would have liked those to be there), and it would have been a lot easier for us to do a final cleaning if there had been a dustpan to be found somewhere!
OK, positives are: kitchen has good supply of cooking and serving needs; location worked very well for us, especially getting to the airport; and the accommodations are pleasant and comfortable. Would I rent it again? Not a cheap stay, certainly, but now that I know the hoops the management company expects renter to jump through, I probably would.

As we approached the home with our three kids in tow, the owner insisted on us providing them with a photo of our drivers license and credit card before giving us the entry code. We felt totally violated! That's what VRBO is for -- to ensure the owner and guest are protected. VRBO has vetted us and provided assurances. We have never been asked for this before!
The sheets on the spare bed in the closet were disgusting! BLOOD!
Only one smoke detector in the whole house.
If car is too tall for standard garage, street parking can be a challenge. With a standard sedan, garage would have been ideal.
Other than that, the house was clean, in very good order, and in good proximity to all major attractions in the Sacramento area.

Very nice but parking was a problem with guests. Neighbors were not friendly so bring your own friends:) property manager was very helpful and responded quickly.

The place was lovely. However, the parking was very limited. All guests had to park on the street.

Our family visited the Sacramento area for Thanksgiving to visit our daughter, who is attending UC Davis. I prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and have zero complaints (with the exception of the can opener that didn't want to work). The living room was very comfortable as we hung out and relaxed. The beds and amenities were great. The whole house was perfect and very clean and comfortable. We loved it and hope to book for next year. Thank you.

We loved our stay at the Dragon house! It was a great location that only requires a 5-10 minute drive to get everywhere we wanted to visit in Sacramento. The place was clean and we really enjoyed the A/C on the hot days.

The property is ALWAYS immaculate. My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions .
Whenever I'm in Sacramento I look for the Dragonfly house. Initially on this stay we had an access problem only because the entry went from key, to code and it threw us off. But our stay was excellent as usual. Always a special ,comfortable time.

Excellent home away from home
Our stay would not have been great in SAC, had we not had the "perfect" location to lay our heads. Also, to be able to cook fantastic dinners, in a home setting. All the amenities a group could ever need. The decor was excellent and comfortable.
Thanks you HomeAway & VRBO!!

Quiet and comfortable
Nice comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds too! Would like to see some sponges with an abrasive side because the pots and pans have accumulated baked on food and we couldn’t scrub them clean before we used them.

Comfortable, spacious, near many freeways
This was a lovely choice for a rental for our family. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs (2 dog parks very close by), and our son and his girlfriend were over every day. Large enough for all of us to not bump into each other, but cozy warm with a gas fireplace.
Only drawback was basic kitchen implements were pretty skimpy.

Everything was very, nice there was a mixup on the cleaning but they sent someone out right away.

Exactly what we expected. Have no complaints, would stay again.
Property was clean, thoughtfully decorated, well supplied, easy access to freeway, nice newer neighborhood.

Comfortable Home with Nice Finishes
We enjoyed this home. It's comfortable and has lovely finishes. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. The only thing we didn't like was the extremely bright light that was outside the master bedroom window that lit up the room at night, despite closing the blinds tight. Some blackout shades would help this. Otherwise, I'd say perfect for 6 people.

Sacramento rental
Very clean and quiet. Covienent to freeway. The neighborhood seemed safe. Couldn't get code to work to put key back in lockbox.

Affordable, clean and in a good location
We enjoyed staying in this house. It was clean and nicely furnished. My only suggestion is that there should be instructions left on the premises on working the TV remotes and details on checking out.

Home away from home
We had a wonderful time in Sacramento and the excellent accommodations certainly contributed a lot to the experience. It is nice at the end of the day to come home and turn on the fireplace with the flip of a switch and sit down for some local news. The neighborhood was well maintained and appeared very safe. The house was in perfect condition. There were no noise issues. It was always peaceful. We were just minutes from the interstate and in 10 minutes we could be downtown or at the airport. Teya took great care of us and welcomed us on our arrival. Thanks for everything. We travel to Sacramento at least annually and we will be looking for availability here first.

A real find
The house was absolutely immaculate! Nicely furnished with personal touches like a small. Xmas tree.Iwould not recommend This home for elderly guests as the beds are too close to the floor but I would stay there again when visiting Sacramento.
