朝夕とも食事がおいしく、中でもデザートのおいしさには驚いた。東京で店を開いたら行列ができるレベルだ。3日とも目をみはらされる連続だった。部屋にビデがついているので、ウォシュレットに慣れた日本人には助かる。新館の方に泊ったので外の騒音は気にならなかったが、旧館は通行量の多い幹線に面しているので、騒音レベルを気にする人がいるかもしれない。
料理の良さの反面、アルコールが少し割高に感じた。そのうえ、初日はテーブルに着くや否や、ミネラルウォーターについてガス入りがいいか、ガスなしがいいか、早口で尋ねられ、その勢いに押されて望まない有料の水を飲まされるはめになった。これは客に誤解を与える行為だと思う。また私たちは窓際のテーブルに決められたが、近くのドアが開放されているため、外でタバコを吸う人の煙が臭く、不愉快だった。
