Lovely stay in a fantastic central location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was incredibly convenient, right in the city centre and directly above a café, which was perfect for popping downstairs for a coffee and pastry. We didn't try the breakfast ourselves but it looked lovely.
The accommodation was a really nice space and the bathroom was particularly nice. The shower was great, although a small shelf or some extra storage in the shower would have been useful. There was also a hob and microwave, so you could do some basic self catering if you wanted to although we found eating out to be very reasonably priced and didn't really need to cook.
One of our favourite things was how quiet the room was despite being right in the centre. The windows blocked out the outside noise really well, and the blackout curtains were excellent. There were often live music bands playing in the square in the evenings, and being able to look out of the window and enjoy the atmosphere was actually a really nice part of the stay.
There are a few things worth knowing before booking. There is no lift so depending on which floor you're staying on be prepared for quite a lot of stairs. We were aware of this beforehand so it wasn't an issue for us. The bedroom has two glass doors, which we found a slightly unusual layout. If one person gets up early it can disturb the other person.
A few small practical things could also be improved, such as providing more than one bin liner during the stay. We also later discovered that some other accommodations in the area provide a welcome card with free public transport. As the local buses were quite expensive, this would have been a really useful addition and something we would have appreciated here.

Great location! Beautiful view.
Difficult to understand check-in all digital and didn’t work. No welcome amenities typical of a booking.com property. Lots of additional fees pushed the price much higher than advertised

Location
Warning about stairs for suitcases would’ve been helpful. Bit more clarity on the final bill, there was confusion about parking on the bill when it had been paid separately the day before. There was no indication on the final bill that it had already been paid, leading me to believe I was paying for it twice.
