The most welcoming congenial hosts we have ever had!...a lovely stay. Breakfast was excellent, just share preferences and they will do their best. Fresh, local produce with flavour was so nice to have. The home has a large garden around it, and the quiet side street made it peaceful and relaxing. Very good location to visit Napier, go wine tasting and visit the coast (recommend Gannett colony January-March, if into birds).

We had the pool room which was located in the garden right by the pool so we had a nice view. It has a small table and chairs outside where we ate. The garden has a clothesline where you can hang your laundry to dry. Sally ran the washer for us while we were there. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, avocados from the garden, toast and eggs if you wanted them. Sally and Gavin were very chatty and helpful with local information. Location was a few miles from town and within 20 minutes or less of many wineries.
This particular room is not directly connected to the inside of the house which gives you a more open feeling. However if the rest of the guests are at the pool you will need to draw your curtains if you are in the room and want privacy

Breakfast was ok, location was ok.
Privacy could have been better not sitting outside looking at what's on the clothes line, other issues were no fridge in the room had the go looking for milk in there shed 'over all well overpriced for what it is.
