The location couldn’t be better.
There’s no elevator, and it’s noisy.

The place is pretty nice. Its location is amazing, just a block away from the cathedral. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast included is very good. It's very clean .
The staff is always available, but they always act like they didn't want you there. They charge extra for the pool and the price is not that appealing, they even charge you extra for milk for your coffee, I didn't get it, how much money would it cost to give you milk for your coffee, that not only sounds cheap it sounds dumb.
It may have been a misunderstanding, but on our first day, there wasn't hot water in the shower, but the rest of our stay, the water was great.

I liked that the hotel was not too far from the plaza or several attractions in Guanajuato. I liked that the hotel staff asked other guests to make sure they kept quiet in case they came in during the late hours of the night. I liked that the staff was friendly and answered all questions or concerns I had. I especially liked how the hotel cleaning staff left my room clean and organized whenever I asked the reception desk if someone could clean my room. My favorite thing from the hotel was the outstanding treatment I received from the massage therapist as well as the steam bath and relaxation pool.
I have a few negative things to say about the Hotel Spa Casa del Sol. I had an excellent experience in this hotel; my only small complaint is about the breakfast. Do not get me wrong, the food was delicious, but I wish there were an extra option to the free breakfast included. The only options were eggs done to your liking or chilaquiles. Again, nothing wrong with those foods, but perhaps pancakes or oatmeal with toast could be another option.
