Situated in Stamford, this charming house for $113 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Before we begin, please note my family and I live here and parties/smoking are strictly forbidden. Now sit back and enjoy the lower level of our charming Georgian home just outside downtown Stamford. We are on the Stamford/Greenwich border which is only a 5 minute drive to not only downtown Stamford but also the Metro-North train with easy access to NYC Your area includes 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, your own private bathroom and exclusive access to a full gym and 8 person home theater. One of the bedrooms includes 60 inch tv with access to Netflix while the home theater is connected to Netflix as well. The home theater includes a 110 inch projection along with leather reclining chairs and we have added additional seating to create a more intimate, comfortable living space for our guests. Please note that the separate entrance does include a flight of approximately 8 stairs down in order to enter the premises. The small bathroom has a large walk-in shower which also doubles as a steam shower. We offer other amenities as well which include a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, large and small fridge which we set up in the home theater but no oven. We do not have a kitchen in the basement however we start you off with some staples (coffee, soda), and you bring the rest. It's important to note that our neighborhood has a suburban feel and there are no grocery stores, cafes, coffee shops, delis, restaurants, or bars within easy walking distance of the house. Downtown Stamford and other businesses are a quick 5 min drive (~$5 Uber) from our house. We are located on an approx. 1 acre lot relatively flat grade which includes a separate private entrance to your living space. The lot and neighborhood are great for dog walking. You're also welcome to hang out in the backyard, which we also use, which includes a terrace and 8 person picnic table along with a gazebo. We are pet friendly and we do have a dog. You won't have to interact with her (she is, however, very outgoing and loves attention). She is never allowed on your floor. We are a quiet, friendly couple who are happy to share our house. We're eager to provide as much information as we can to help make your stay enjoyable. Please always feel free to ask us about anything and be sure to let us know about anything we've overlooked or run out of. We're pretty busy during the week, but when we're not, we love to stop and chat with guests who have time and inclination. We are respectful of those who prefer to be left alone to rest or enjoy the privacy of the suite.

Excellent place and well worth the price! Home Theater room with snack bar was our go to spot for everything. Two bedrooms with queen beds are at opposite end and very quiet, no matter what was going on in the home theater or huge gym area. Would definitely stay here again.

Host anticipates everything a guest could possibly need! Home theatre and gym added perks! Very Clean and modern! Beds are super comfy! The host was quick to respond to any questions I had. Close to metro for easy access to NYC. 10/10 would recommend!

Rented this house for family members in town when we needed more space and it was great. The house was in a wonderful and quiet neighborhood and the property was very clean and I'd even say better than listing photos. Would certainly recommend for a nice and calm place that is still very close to downtown. Host was very nice, great communication and accommodating.

My partner and I highly enjoyed our 2-night stay in Stamford. Chris made check-in incredibly easy and was very welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the rental space is maintained impeccably. You are given every amenity imaginable and total privacy, though Chris is also happy to assist if needed. We'll happily stay here again when we visit the Stamford/Norwalk area in the future!

Check in and communication was excellent. Beautiful property. Enjoyed the deer in the back yard. Just one complaint was that the owners were a bit noisy upstairs in the morning with the kids. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location and beautiful property. Easy access to stores and train station. Beds are super comfortable and theatre room is awesome. Note that it doesn’t have a kitchen sink or oven/stovetop, but we made it work without any problem. Great place to stay.

The property was perfect for our stay with our adult son. There was ample room and our host had a wonderful coffee/tea bar set up for our mornings. We came in to town and spent most of our time at my son and daiughter in laws across town but it was so nice to come home at night and have a quiet place to stay. My older son used the work out area/ gym every moring and we were able to watch local TV as well as shows on the "big screen". Thank you Chris for a great stay. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Absolutely abundant space in a beautiful house and a lovely, safe neighborhood. Besides the two well-appointed bedrooms we enjoyed use of a large projection room with coffee, popcorn, and beverages. We did not partake of the professional exercise room set up with equipment a power lifter would enjoy. We would recommend this unit to everyone

First time staying in Stamford and this location was perfect for our purposes. We appreciated the offer of an extra rollaway bed for our party (4 sisters) and the dark roast coffee you provided for our morning cup. Small kitchen area suited our modest needs. Great hike nearby at Mianus River Park. Quick responses to our few questions. Lovely shower! Thanks!

Had a good experience for most of the time. The stumping on the floor above us was bothersome. We were there for a conference and when we need to rest it was interrupted. Love the variety of coffee, tea, and water for their guest. The bathroom with bench and a steamer was a plus is perfect for tired days. Thank you Chris.

My friend and I came to town for a festival in a nearby town. The house is a quick rideshare from the train, so it was easy to get where we wanted to be. Chris welcomed us and was available to answer any questions about the house or the area. The unit was exactly as described in the listing. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay here for our day trip to NYC! Though there's no kitchen, Chris provided plenty of dishes, utensils, water, etc. which was great for our breakfasts and late night snacks. We stayed while competing at the Westminster Dog Show at Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, NY. It was an easy 30-minute commute to the show site. Great rental- the bed was comfy, the linens were all good quality and plentiful, the mini fridge was stocked with seltzers and water, there was plenty of plates and dinnerware for meals (microwave only), the shower was luxurious. The back yard was visited often by bunnies and deer, and my dogs and I really enjoyed the yard and neighborhood. There were good choices on the TVs but we really didn't spend much time enjoying the theater room, (or the work out room) as we were pretty busy with the dog show. The host was very available and responsive. If I was planning to attend the dog show next year I would have already booked this rental again!
