A really lovely stay. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean, with a spacious bathroom. The staff were professional, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive.
The spa was immaculate and, when we visited, wonderfully quiet. I particularly loved the scent of frankincense in the steam room — such a beautiful touch — and really appreciated the ice machine after the sauna. Everything was clean and well maintained, with plenty of towels.
And the breakfast was gorgeous. Plenty of choice, beautifully presented and a lovely way to start the day.
The whole place has a very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We arrived by car, with easy parking, and then left by train. The station is close enough to make getting into Gdańsk very straightforward, so it worked brilliantly for us as a base.
Please don’t take this too seriously, especially as this is a garden designer writing this!
The garden is overwhelmingly grass, which is constantly being mown by an automated mower. With beehives on the estate, I couldn’t help thinking that the grounds would be even more wonderful with some meadow-style planting and a little more habitat for pollinators.
But honestly, the property itself is gorgeous — I just couldn’t resist mentioning the garden. Occupational hazard! 🌿🐝
Overall, a beautiful, comfortable and peaceful hotel with excellent facilities and a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stunning venue, love the interior design, beautiful surroundings, calm, relaxing and well maintained spa facilities plus great history.
Apart from bed being a little bit squeaky, can’t fault it!!

The breakfast was perfect. Room service didn’t happened as the order for double coffees with milk was repeated back to Us in a question form several times to the point of us cancelling the order ,and that was done in Polish so there couldn’t be a language problem but a staff poor comprehension .
Poor pillows.”Big pillows” were in fact an old , middle size pillows with inside fibres so old that the form was disfigured making pillows very uncomfortable . The small pillow was a joke size ( Polish jasiek) . When asked for additional pillows , more old , like wise pillows arrived. When contacted the reception, I was told that the hotel has no more pillows available so I expressed my opinion about the fact that this was not expected standard in a 5 star hotel . After a while, a person knocked on the door carrying two MEMORY FOAM pillows!!! A joke!
The decor in our rooms was horrific . We appreciate all different styles of interior and visited many hotels all over the World with similar theme but the room interior was always kept neutral. This was a very unpleasant experience. The bathrooms… well with a fancy sink… there was nowhere to put the make up bags. But on the other side of the bathroom. The soup dish with a micro soup was straight overflowing as the water from the fancy sink went everywhere. The walk in shower lucked the through behind when created as the separating wall was much too short leaving bathroom half flooded after just one shower.
No table to consume on. The trolley that came with the food order was like in a horror movie. One could not even sit at eat to eat . Why? So we used a window to eat at.we were two people so one sat at the writhing desk and the other at the window
