We had a wonderful stay at My Story Gdynia Hotel during a short holiday trip around the Tricity area and Hel Peninsula. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
The biggest strengths were the cleanliness, the comfortable room, and the excellent food. Our family room was spacious, spotless, and featured a large bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. The pillows deserve a special mention as they provided some of the best sleep we've had in a hotel.
The location is excellent. Despite being close to the SKM railway station, the rooms are very well soundproofed, so it was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. The SKM connection makes it easy to reach all parts of the Tricity area, while Skwer Kościuszki is only a short ride or pleasant walk away.
Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. We also tried the restaurant menu and were impressed by the quality of the food. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable.
The staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay. A special thank you to the housekeeping lady who was always smiling, helpful, and genuinely kind.
The only minor downside was that breakfast could get quite noisy due to some families with children, although this was more related to guests than the hotel itself. The hotel had made a clear effort to provide a dedicated children's area.
Overall, excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to include the city tax in the room rate to avoid an additional charge at the end of the stay.
We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers.

The staff were so friendly and professional, and the room was spotless. The whole place has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere, thanks to the ( I guess, carefully) chosen lighting and colors.😍 Breakfast was amazing — honestly one of the best we’ve had in Europe. We also enjoyed dinner here and highly recommend it. The sauna is included for guests with unlimited access, unlike many other hotels, which made our stay even more relaxing. Bravo!!
