A high standard apartment in perhaps the most beautiful street in Rome
Beautiful location very stylish in appointment. Via Gulia is a perfect location. Air conditioning a life saver in the Roman heat. Staff very responsive
Shout out to Cafe Peru below which allowed us to sit with our bags both coming in and out. Very nice owner and very authentic.
It’s was mostly excellent. If I had to quibble the living room chairs need replacing as they are not comfortable at all. There is no cushioning remaining.

Excellent location, though maintenance and hygiene could be better.
The self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.
The location is excellent. A taxi ride from the train station to the apartment cost only around €17. The apartment is within a 7-minute walk of Vatican City and just 2 minutes from a grocery store.
There is also a mini supermarket and bus stop in 2 minutes walking distance, providing convenient access to many major attractions, including the Colosseum, which can be reached in about 20 minutes.
The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with the most complete set of appliances and utensils we have ever seen in a vacation rental. It has virtually everything you could possibly need for cooking and dining, making it feel very much like a home away from home.
While the furniture looks appealing in the photos, several pieces were noticeably worn when used, particularly the living room sofa, armchairs, and dining chairs. The cushions are almost completely flattened, making it feel as though you are sitting directly on the frames. Beyond the lack of comfort, the furniture does not convey a good sense of cleanliness or hygiene. It may be cleaned regularly, but its aged and worn condition makes it difficult for guests to feel confident about that. In fact, the condition of some of the seating was concerning enough that I did not feel comfortable sitting on it at all.
The master bedroom bathroom also feels quite dated. Rather than having a timeless or classic character, it appears old and would benefit from a renovation with a more cohesive and consistent design. There is no need for luxury finishes; the key is ensuring that the spaces feel well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully cared for.
Overall, the interior design embraces a classic vintage style, which is attractive and well suited to the character of the building. With better maintenance and some updates to the furniture and bathroom, the apartment could provide a much more comfortable and welcoming guest experience.

A really quiet, comfortable place which is nicely decorated.
Really good location and the staff replied immediately. It has air-conditioning on each floor which really helped and was lovely and quiet.
The tv was only in the living room and was too small. There wasn’t a toilet roll holder.

A few nights in a self catering apartment in Rome.
It was convenient to many places, within reasonable walking distance if you don’t have mobility issues, to the number 6 stop on the HOHO bus routes and theVatican. There were a couple of small supermarkets close by where you could buy basic food supplies as well as cafes and restaurants. The air conditioning was welcome as it was very hot in mid July!
It’s an apartment with cooking facilities but these were pretty basic. The cooktop is induction (great!) but some of the pans didn’t work on it 😩
We think you were expected to cook pasta given what was provided but a few more bowls for salads and mixing would be good. We book places with cooking facilities as I have food intolerances which can make eating out difficult.

This apartment is located on a historic street, and its location is excellent. It is well equipped and was comfortable to stay in.
The water pressure was quite low, and for two nights there was no hot water in the shower. Although it was repaired and the hot water was restored, it was still inconvenient and affected my stay.
