Perfectly Perfect Stay

The property was spotlessly clean. It was the perfect location for our needs and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Ken and Robyn were brilliant hosts! We chatted and enjoyed their company as much as the rest of the stay.

Super relaxing stay in a clean, cosy ,comfortable home with fantastic hosts and a breakfast to match

Absolutely loved staying here. The location was perfect for me as I was visiting family in the area. The breakfast was "to die for"!! Ken and Robyn take great pride in the cooking of their breakfasts with a different restaurant quality hot meal every morning (e.g perfect poached eggs on English muffin with hollandaise sauce and wilted spinach) and a wonderful cereal and fresh fruit salad and yoghurt buffet, tea, bodum coffee and juice, toast and spreads. All of this set on a beautiful dining table with lovely fine china. It was the highlight of each day. The breakfast set me up for the day... no lunch required! Their company and conversation each morning at breakfast was a joy. They truly welcome you into their home ( and I'm usually one that likes to keep to myself). They are the most amazing hosts- so caring and considerate and they really welcome you as family, but at the same time are mindful of your privacy and time alone. The rooms are meticulously clean and tidy and beautifully presented and the lovely little details really make you smile e.g the jug of water and glasses left on the dresser in your room. The beds are super comfortable and the whole house is cosy and warm. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there and meet Ken and Robyn. They are truly remarkable hosts and lovely, lovely people. I will definitely be back and have no hesitation in giving the highest recommendation for a stay in their lovely home. Thank you for welcoming me into your home Ken and Robyn.

4 nights was not enough!! I honestly could not complain about anything. Ken and Robyn were extremely obliging and no request was too much trouble.

Home away from home

Upon arrival to the B&B, we were greeted by friendly hosts with a fresh pot of tea and a comfy lounge to put our feet up. We felt very relaxed and later had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed. Each morning, we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast that set us up for each day. Our trip was based around a sports carnival at Springfield Central Sports Complex. While it was a 1/2 hour drive each way, it was well worth it for the home away from home atmosphere of the B&B. It was not too far off the highway, for those wanting to travel to the city and other attractions.

The Breakfast was as good as any 4 star Hotel, plenty of Cereal, Fruit Yoghurt and the Cooked Breakfast delicious.

Superb

I just loved *everything* about my stay. Robyn and Ken were so kind as to wait for my late arrival as my plane landed in Brisbane after 8pm. The house is quiet and cozy, and you definitely feel like you're immediately home. After a good night's sleep, we had breakfast together (wonderful breakfast with yogurt, fruit salad, bacon and eggs, toast, coffee..everything you can wish for) and they gave me a ton of suggestions on where to go and what to do.

Nothing at all! I will come back for sure next time :)

Being our first B n B it has set a very high standard. Great hosts 😊

Breakfast was very well catered with cereals, juice, coffee, toast plus hot eggs and bacon . Ken and Robyn joined us each morning with another stay couple and it made for a really enjoyable start to the day. Loads of laughter.

Hosts were very welcoming.

Would have liked a choice A little hard to find in the dark. Property was lovely with lovely outdoors and a pool.

A nitel light in the ensuite to find your way around the furniture in the dark would be a bonus.

Great place to stay with kids, we felt at home & well looked after.

Robyn & Ken were lovely & made us feel comfortable straight away. Our oldest son was beyond excited to swim in the pool. The hospitality was great & we enjoyed our breakfast & chats with them. We will definitely be booking again.

From the moment we first arrived, we were welcomed in as friends. Ken & Robyn are the loveliest people you could meet & have a beautiful home & property, this is a true B&B experience. The breakfast table & spread they prepare for their guests make you feel like family, the only thing you will regret is not staying longer!! We will definitely stay here as our first choice when next visiting Ipswich.
