Perfect spot if you want to explore. Family room great for families.

Perfect location in Pedlar Street, the best spot in Galle. My young kids especially loved that we could pop back past to drop off shopping or take a break. Lovely helpful staff. Great food and cold beer. Air con was a welcome relief on hot July days after shopping and walking all day.

Very helpfull staff, great location in center of fort area. Also 10min walk to Galle cricket stadium - do not miss the chance to visit a game.there.

Superb

We really liked our stay here the location is great for wondering around Galle. And having the restaurant down stays is really handy and food and drink there was lovely. We also booked our taxi to the airport with them and it was a really comfortable car and journey. The staff and owner are lovely and friendly 😃

The owner advised he had not long taken over the property and is looking to do some refurbishing later on, which will make this place perfect as the room was a bit tired.

Probably many better deals around

Breakfast

Horrible smell in the room coming up from the restaurant kitchen in the evening. No proper place to sit outside and chill out with a beer. Advised « city view » is actually a view over the neighbours garbage place. The owner wanted to add 3 percent charge in case of card payment… obviously due to « new government taxes »

Could be a lot better

Good location, nice local staff who helped with some dirty laundry (there are no laundromats in Galle Fort) and the wonky wifi. Healthy breakfast option was good as part of breakfast.

Bed was uncomfortable compared to other hotels I've been in and the room much smaller and cramped than it looks in the pictures. Thin mattress. Bedding sheet had a hole in it as well as one of the pillows. Shower area had masses of peeling paint which made it look untidy. Unreliable wifi. Overall, could offer a lot more value for the money. Also at checkout I wasn't charged in US dollars but in local currency, which was more than the US dollar rate. The room should be able to be booked at local currency rates so there is no discrepancy between what the rate is on Booking.com and what you end up paying on the day when you leave.

Great place for a couple of nights

Nice place, rooms are quite small but clean and quite. Very friendly stuff.

Internet is via 4g->WiFi router and is not very fast.

Superb

We had the queen suite, with two double bedrooms and a gigantic bathroom,accessed via two sets of spiral staircases. It was simply and tastefully decorated, with bedding, towels and toiletries included. Air con was good, TV and fridge, as well as a kettle and tea/coffee provided. Excellent location in the heart of Galle Fort. We could choose breakfast from their restaurant menu, and also ate there for dinner, which was good and convenient.

We were pleasantly surprised by a large freestanding bath. There isn't however enough water pressure or hot water to make the most of it.

Good value for money in a great location.

The location was great, in the middle of the Fort with plenty of food options around the hotel. In terms of facilities, you get what you paid for, and this is a cheap hotel with comfortable beds, good sized rooms and AC, and good breakfast - all in all good value for money, but no 5 star hotel. The staff was also very accommodating for us to store the luggage after check-out.

The bathroom had some insects, but that’s not uncommon in Sri Lanka.

Place we booked got cancelled so we wanted to be near pedlars inn since tired of travelling since much so location was perfect to be around restaurants shops & right in front of Fort few mins walk.

To be called & knocked to see what time we would leave since policy before 12pm checked out & too many mosquito even though net was there.

I had a very good stay and was taken care of very well.

The property is centrally located in the Galle fort which is a UNESCO heritage place. They have their own restaurant and the cook prepares food as you want . Nice breakfast with lot of options. Roshan and Nadeesha are both very friendly and make you feel at home.

Great location and the staff and owners are so accommodating. They also checked I was happy and went over and above. The room was basic but lovely and nice balcony. Food was exceptional and again, service was brilliant! This place is great if you need a couple of nights stay in the fort, need a great location and looking for great value. Would recommend.

Very good

The host Mr.Roshan is an amazing person, very pleasant and helpful. Entire staff was very friendly as well. And the location is perfect, can enjoy the street view as well as can reach beautiful site at ease. Again thank you so much guys.

Excellent budget option for a stop over in Galle Fort

Roshan and his team are wonderful hosts, the rooms are clean, comfy and excellent value. Highly recommended for travellers looking for an affordable and centrally located spot to spend a few nights.
