The Archives Hotel in Fort Galle was fabulous. We booked for 5 nights and stayed for 10! The hotel itself is a lovely old building with exceptionally clean comfortable luxury rooms, cosy beds and pillows, huge TV (to watch NETFIX occasionally), amazing helpful and friendly staff, and great food and beverages at their very cool restaurant and bar. It's positioned next to the Fort Wall and not far from the famous lighthouse. Restaurants, bars, shops, places to worship, tuk-tuks etc are just outside the door. We loved every minute of our time there.

Beautiful room and bathroom. Great location in the fort. Restaurant below is great for a cocktail

Clean, good location, lovely food.
WiFi. Tv.
WiFi and tv did not work for 1 of our 2 night stay.
Manager had to fix both and replace tv. We missed out on a day of work because we could not use wifi. Very disappointed as you advertise fast wifi.
