It was super comfortable, really good value for money. The room was huge, beds were comfy, lovely hot shower, small fridge and kettle provided. The breakfast was lovely too - fruit, juice, toast, each day and either chicken sausage and eggs or curries with rice depending on the day, we really enjoyed those. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a real crush on this place. Completely in a little cocoon of paradise, with the very curious monkeys who come to meet you. The staff and the manager are adorable and take great care of you. We’ll be back, for sure, and we’ll share this address with our contacts who want to visit Galle

The room was above the restaurant’s kitchen and dish washing area which caused a lot of noise as the bed was under the window and the clanking of the dishes and cutlery disturbed our sleep.
We reached the guesthouse at 1pm and we had a long journey instead of accommodating us right away they made us wait an hour as the according to them the check in time was 2pm.
Usually the check out time is 12pm in all most all hotels, theirs were 10pm.
I didn’t like that their sheets weren’t white and neither were their towels. Which makes me think if they have any stains or the sheets/towels were dirty. We didn’t use the towels.
