Absolutely beautiful place, with lovely private bungalows surrounded by jungle. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially during the low season. It feels peaceful, intimate, and very close to nature.
The one thing I would strongly recommend changing is the music. This is the only place I’ve visited along the coast where music plays throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unfortunately, it’s too loud, the music selection doesn’t match the atmosphere, and it takes away from the natural beauty and peaceful vibe of the place. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and deserve to be enjoyed without a constant soundtrack. I genuinely believe that less music, or ideally none at all, would make the experience so much better!

Secluded room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and some of the local restaurants were fantastic. hotel really is in the jungle. We didn't have to pay any extra fees to enter the park as others have mentioned and Everything inside jaguar park was easily accessible via electric bus.
AC broke during our stay which was fixed in a few hours but a little inconvenient. "partial sea view" was very partial, only the occasional glimpse between the leaves, but the beach was only a few steps away so not that bad. Unfortunately a storm left the beach covered in sargassum during out stay we couldn't really enjoy the amazing location right by the sea.

Big room, but a pointless "plunge pool" on the roof, which cannot be drained.
Very expensive for what it was. Restaurant closed at 5 p.m. There is a Japanese restaurant, but it gets very mixed reviews, assuming you like Japanese food in the first place.
The service was poor. The staff looked tired and disengaged – maybe because it was the end of the season.
