Perfect location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Great air-con.

The location is certainly a highlight of this hotel. But to be completely honest, central Nice is small and everything is basically in a 15 min walk away no matter where you start. The cleaning lady was very sweet! The room was clean. And, if you’re an introvert, it’s a great hotel as you probably won’t meet anyone at the reception.
I was initially not planning to write any review. The intention is not to criticise the hotel but to write a, hopefully, helpful review for other guests. Moreover, the replies of the hotel owner to negative reviews on booking looked very… interesting. The price per night is very democratic, so “what did you want for these money, a palace?” The hotel is in general ok for one night, clean, conveniently located. However, if you consider staying for a relatively long period, consider other options. The grading on booking is unexplainably high (probably from people stay for one night only). Be very careful and actually look at the room photos and the size specified on Booking. At the first glance, they seem quite standard, in reality — incredibly small. Extremely. But we were lucky, it could have been worse. Absolutely absent soundproofing. And it is not about the trash collection in the morning, which is very understandable, or the carnival, which was extremely civil and not bothering at all. It’s about people sneezing or going to the bathroom next room. Speaking of the bathroom, we had to take very, very brief showers as we rarely had enough warm water.
