I have stayed here several times in the past. I keep returning because it is clean, best location and very good and well maintained kitchen facilities etc. I have never had a complaint. I have stayed in other places in Rio over the years. But for me this is the best given that I prefer to cater for myself, work on my laptop and relax.
On this occasion myself and the pillows provided were incompatible. Could be the specific set that was in the room. No doubt the landlord would have changed them had I asked. But I was only there for 3 nights and it was ok. Any issue is usually resolved very quickly.

Location was excellent. Rue de Halévy is very lively with bars and eateries. But we didn't hear any noise from our room. Also very close to the beach front and place Massena. We were there for the nice jazz festival and the accommodation was 2min away. Airconditioning and all other things worked. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked like it was well equipped for a longer stay.
I definitely would stay here again.
Only that the tv didn't have any working channels but we could watch news etc on YouTube.

The place is beautiful and close to everything.
The entry time is until 5 PM, and the client is not answering the phone. You must wait in front of the building until one of the neighbors opens the door for you.
