The location of this property is incredible! We walked to the Monastery and to the final resting place of Saint John Rila. Stunning views everywhere.
The pool and spa were perfect after a long days walk.
The staff were very friendly
We had to ask 3 times for the fridge in our room to be changed. It was changed on day 3 of our stay.
The wine was incredibly overpriced (charged 4 times the amount you can buy it for down the road at the vineyard where it was produced)
There were no toilets in the spa area, they were still under construction.

Helpful staff.
The room facilities should be checked before the guest comes. The refrigerator did not work. The staff promptly changed my refrigerator, but the second one did not work again...

The hotel location is perfect, in the middle of green forest mountains and just 5 minutes walk from the Rila monastery. It needs a good renovation- freshen up in places . I can imagine what a gem the hotel was when it was new . Breakfast is al a carte and very tasty.. The stuff is very friendly.
Overall, I had a relaxing time.

The location is top 10 minutes walking to the monastery. The hotel is a ski resort in Summer all facilities and services are in slow motion. They tried to accommodate the breakfast for us but not buffet available because the hotel did not welcome one large group of clients.
Small things no bottle water in the room and the junior suite not easy to access with luggages lot of stairs.
