What a GEM!

Barbara and her family - not forgetting Walter the dog - provided the warmest of welcomes to this beautiful property. The location is second to none with stunning views of Bantry base and just a short 10 minute stroll to the center of town with plenty of parking available at the B&B. The rooms were beautiful - Barbara has a great eye for design - and the beds are so comfy. As for the breakfast - I will dream of Barbara's home cooked ham forever. If you're looking for quiet base for your travels in West Cork this is the place.

Beautiful interior design and stunning views

This is a top-class B&B with a beautiful interior design and stunning views. All facilities are new and spotlessly clean. There is a self-catering kitchen with free cereal, toast, bars, etc. My bed was massive and super comfy. The lovely host, who knows the area really well, gave us many tips and recommendations.

Perfect stay in Bantry!

This was a perfect stay in Bantry! Barbara was a lovely host, the room was even better than in the pictures and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each day, with many options. The view at sunset was amazing, facing the bay and to get into the town centre was only a 15 min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful place

We had a wonderful stay at Atlantic Shore. Barbara is a wonderful person who is taking care of her guests. Me and my mum had the twin room which was comfortable and had a nice bathroom. The breakfast is served in the kitchen with the other guests and was delicious. Barbara made fresh eggs and salmon every morning- thank you :-)! She also made our beds every day, very thoughtful. We highly recommend this peaceful and quiet place.

Home from home, 100% hospitality, rooms & stay.

Felt like a home from home. Everything was immaculately clean, simple and smart. All the necessary basics that mean the most done to high specification. Lovely spacious rooms, comfy bed, good shower, good amenities, even good toilet roll. Spoilt for choice at breakfast and hands down brilliant hospitality. Barbara was amazing, nothing was too much.

Really warm welcome by host. Huge,comfy bed-I slept like a log(which I seldom ever do). More than adequate breakfast-lovely poached eggs on toast. Really lovely room,very modern,very clean,very comfortable. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Barbara is one of the kindest people we've ever met. She went above and beyond, even offered to give us a ride and gave us umbrellas. The room was very clean and comfortable as was the kitchenette frequently restocked with water bottles and snack bars. The continental breakfasts were tasty and fresh - perfect way to start the day. We would definitely love to come back.

Wow. Great B&B in Bantry.

Really comfy room with friendly & helpful staff. Barbara even drove us to the pub so we wouldn't have to wait for a taxi. The fantastic 5 star breakfast as good as any 5 star hotel. Will def be back next time we visit Bantry. Thanks Barbara.
