I work remote for a company but monthly I have to come for a couple of days to the office and this month I discovered Brater, that is nice , fair price and 1 km away from the financial district where my company has the office .

I had a brief business trip to Bucharest, in Dimitrie Pompeiu, where a lot of multinationals have offices. This hotel is about 10 minutes away, one could actually enjoy a nice walk if the traffic or weather allows it. The place is very chic, rooms seem to be of different design each, parking was offered to me free of charge, which is a big plus in a crowded capital. They also offer breakfast, not very rich but very cost effective and good enough to start the day.
Overall a great choice, I’d stay there again.

Warm room, bed was comfortable.
Rather run down hotel, in need of modernisation. Suspect all the positive reviews are from those staying in the penthouse.
Very dodgy area, would not recommend walking around there at night and parking is not great; if you park at the front you have to reverse over a high kerbstone on one of the busiest roads in Bucharest, terrifying.
It's extremely noisy, the traffic never stops.
We booked this in a hurry, wish we had taken more time.
