About this house rental
Originally built around 1900 as a log cabin, this house has been renovated with new roof, windows, cabinets, flooring, and bathrooms. The formal dining room and second bathroom showcase exposed logs, preserving the home's rich history. The home features two bedrooms on the main floor and two more upstairs. Guests can also use the large two-stall garage and appreciate the peaceful 3-acre property. The large living room includes a fireplace crafted from original Door County limestone, now equipped with a gas insert for quick warmth. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and patio doors opening to a covered deck overlooking the backyard, perfect for wildlife viewing and morning coffee. The first floor includes a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, a kitchen with a breakfast table seating four, and a dining room accommodating eight. The main bathroom on this floor offers a tub/shower combination. Upstairs, one bedroom has a full-size bed with a half bath, while the other bedroom features two twin beds and a small sink area for convenience.

The house was perfect for the 7 of us. Very clean house, comfortable beds, and in a great location.. Would stay at this house again. Host was great in responding to our questions. It is too bad 1/2 bath isn't accessible to both bedrms upstairs but we made it work.

Our stay at this property was incredible. The accommodations, the accommodations description, the cleanliness of the house, wi-go, You Tube TV, the spaciousness of the house and a huge green space backyard along with two patio areas and a grill and Best of all cornhole boards was truly everything for our party of six, our family could ask for. Everything was provided in the kitchen, the full pantry, utensils, remote controls for the garage doors, gas fireplace. Wonderful local wineries and shopping. A super friendly area. The host was very detailed in all of the amenities of the house and provided an incredible syllabus for the property, restaurants, and anything that you could imagine you’d like to do in the area. If you’re looking for a spacious, clean, easily accessible to town and surrounding area family Vacay, this is it! 5 Stars for sure!
