Located in Lake Gaston, this attractive house for $615 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. ** Summer months have a Friday Check-in/Check-out ** Your vacation begins the moment you walk in the front door and take in the gorgeous, panoramic view of Lake Gaston! The airy 2 story family and kitchen area features a wall of windows and glass doors that let in the light while still leaving the home feeling comfortable and inviting. Prefer the outside air? Step out onto the large screened in porch furnished for both dining and lounging. Enjoy a bug free nap on the hammock while still close enough to the water to share in the lake front fun. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to create great meals or quick snacks for the dock. We pride ourselves on having an extremely well-stocked kitchen. You won't run out of silverware, glasses or lack that perfect food prep tool! Located on the main level, the master king bedroom has en-suite bath, HD TV, lake front view and sliding doors onto a private deck. Also on the main floor is another bedroom with a queen size bed situated just next to a full bathroom. With a large group of family or friends you'll enjoy having the option of indoor play in the heated and cooled garage game room OR in the 2nd living space located on the lower level. The game room comes complete with ping-pong, air hockey and sitting areas. The lower living area has full seating, a board game table and a large HD TV. The lower living area also has double sliding glass doors with easy access to the dock, yard or just for enjoying the evening sunsets across the water. The lower level continues to provide lots of extra space for those family and friends! There are 3 bedrooms and one full bath on this floor. You'll find a bedroom with a king sized bed, HD TV and sliding patio doors to the beautiful lake view, another huge bedroom with a queen bed, double bed and daybed/trundle which also has patio doors to that same exceptional lake view. Also there is a 3rd bedroom with a queen/twin bunk-bed set and a twin/twin bunk-bed set. But really, who are we kidding? You have plenty of time to explore the indoors after you run out to the dock and get your feet in the water! You will love the option of sitting either in the sun or in the shade while still being right in the middle of all the water activities! Furnished with patio loungers, a porch swing, hammock chairs and a table/chair set, you'll find the dock perfect for everyone's water front expectations. Need some exercise? Grab the kayak or the paddle board and take them for a spin. With 7 feet of water depth, a cannonball contest might be in order! Our home comes complete with bed linens as well as bathing and kitchen towels. Our neighborhood is large, quiet and safe with numerous paved roads so bring your bikes and feel free to tour around. You will also find a neighborhood park and pavilion at the entrance of our neighborhood with a playground for the kids to enjoy. At this time we do not provide a boat lift for rental use; however, we do have mooring whips (with instructions) for safe/secure boat or jet ski docking. These ties are easy to use and keep your vessel a safe distance from the dock even during storms and/or high wake time periods. The closest ramp is located at Morningstar Marina, just a few miles drive from the house. Our cove is the first large cove on the same side as the marina when you head west out of the marina area.

2nd year in a row we've rented this property and it was perfect once again. Our group of 10 had plenty of space and the cove was nice and quiet for cruising and paddleboarding. Will definitely be coming back again next year!

We had a fantastic stay with our friends! The dock was perfect - lots of space to swim around, and easy getting access with a boat rental! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked - we typically have to bring our own kitchen appliances/nicer knives but this kitchen had everything we needed. The garage fridge took a while to chill things, but by the 2nd day it was great! The wifi was also very strong, which was a huge plus for friends who did some remote work. We will absolutely book this house again!

The house was clean and nice. The deck was a little worn and not much room for boats to be docked especially if kids want to jump off the dock. Wakes could get pretty rough with all the wake boats in the cove. Apparently, you can't use the community boat ramp so you have to launch a few miles away. Very rude resident told us we weren't allowed to use the ramp. I was under the assumption we were guests of the house owner and should be allowed to use the ramp. The book at the house didn't say one way or the other but the gate was unlocked. Overall it was nice and would recommend.

This was our first visit to Lake Gaston and we will definitely be going back! 5 Boys at the lake was perfect for our family. We were able to dock our boat right there at their dock, the kids loved fishing and swimming right there!

My group of several families had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend. The house is roomy and comfortable with great group kid sleeping options. The paddle boards and kayaks were great to have on hand and used a lot by our group. The outdoor firepit and indoor game room were fantastic. Our check in was delayed by several hours because the cleaners were not finished. We could not get a signal on the living room tv. We were outside most of the time so it didn’t matter. Overall recommend!

Everyone loved the home and setting. The teens loved the lake and the use of the canoes and paddle boards. House was clean, had great kitchen, and the screened in porch was where everyone gathered! Would love to stay again!!

5 Boys is a great property. Everything was as expected with lots of room for 12 people. The kitchen was very well stocked and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, ping pong and an evening campfire. The owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon

Comfortable house with plenty of room for the 9 of us. When we weren't at the water we were on the spacious screened porch. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and the deep water at the dock was great for jumping in.

Wonderful week with immediate family from Seattle, Salt Lake and Apex. Found this house to be perfect for our family of 11. Kitchen well stocked great beds, terrific boat dock whips and screened in porch all added to a fun week on Lake Gaston. Host AnneMarie quick to respond to any questions or needs we had.

Great Family Vacation
The property was great for our family reunion. We had 4 families consisting of 8 adults and 5 children. The screened-in porch was perfect for socializing outside, and we loved the covered dock. Be aware there are a few places on the dock that are easy to lose your footing because they are interior corner spots where the wood edging ends (our son fell in once on accident but he is fine). The game room is great for the kids, but the foosball table did have a broken leg upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil you would need and more. We loved how the lights were all well labeled. We would definitely stay here again. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards that come with the property. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner.

Outstanding Property
Our stay was wonderful. The house was as advertised. We had everything we needed, and the place was peaceful. We were also close to a grocery store, as well as boat/jetski rental. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again. It was the perfect size for our family. Everyone had a great time swimming, fishing and sitting by the fire.
