We had a wonderful stay at Maison Ulysee in Amiens. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious, stylish and absolutely spotless. It was a real pleasure to stay there.
Our host, Amélie, gave us a very warm and friendly welcome and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The location is perfect – right next to the cathedral and within easy walking distance of the Maison Jules Verne and the Hortillonnages. It was an ideal base for exploring Amiens on foot.
The simple French breakfast was delicious and a lovely start to the day. Perhaps some eggs or a similar savoury option could be added in the future – maybe next time! Because we definitely want to come back.

Nous avons été reçus par une jeune femme charmante et extrêmement gentille. La chambre est très spacieuse, très propre et très calme. La literie est de bonne qualité et très confortable. Tout peut se faire à pied. La cathédrale à deux pas, la gare SNCF à 10 minutes, l’office du tourisme à 2 minutes, les musées (Jules Verne et de Picardie) à 12 minutes et les hortillonnages à 15 minutes. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment sans notre voiture. La ville d’Amiens est très intéressante et très vivante avec tous les étudiants. Le quartier Saint Leu et ses nombreux restaurants sont animés le soir et à 5 minutes de la maison Ulysse. Nous vous recommandons sans réserve cette location et si nous retournons à Amiens nous y redéposerons nos valises avec grand plaisir.
Rien, tout été parfait et quelle gentillesse de notre hôte que nous remercions. C'est une personne qui aime ce qu'elle fait.
