Wonderful stay in two parts.

Babylon Premium was an oasis in the hustle of Hanoi. The staff were wonderful from the moment we stepped in, giving us a welcome juice and explaining a map of the city as we sat in the reception. We were additionally greeted warmly each time we left and entered the hotel, including having the door opened for us more often than not. Breakfast combined buffet items with dishes made fresh to order and was lovely. Our room was clean and bright and as we were in the middle of the hotel there was minimal noise and we slept very well. Would 100% return - we actually left to do a Halong Bay trip then returned for one more night to an even warmer welcome back.

We didn't have an outside window but did have an internal one, in hindsight this probably helped with sleep as there was no noise.

Wonderful stay in two parts.

Returned for an extra night after a previous three night stay. We were welcomed like friends and even given a room upgrade as it was our second stay, so the bed was even bigger. This time we used the spa facilities and had a wonderful Vietnamese massage. We also used the laundry service and had our clothes returned clean and folded within 24 hours. As before, breakfast and the room couldn't be faulted. The location is excellent. Thanks again Babylon, would definitely return.

Great Location

Nice room and good breakfast. Excellent location to immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi old town.

Nothing as long as you are ok with an older style property.

Sensacional estancia y amabilidad del personal

Súper bien ubicado y excelente personal, me lo recomendaron y acertaron de pleno porque tras el caos que supone estar en Hanoi, llegar a tu hotel y estar tan cómodo, limpio y con esa amabilidad se agradece.

Très bel hôtel propre et emplacement exceptionnel ! Les demandes spécifiques sont respectées. (Lit double / fer à repasser … ) Personnel vraiment adorable et qui s assure de votre confort tout au long du séjour ! Enfin un très bon petit déjeuner très varié

Great location. Fabulous staff and very nice rooms

Great breakfast choices, something for everyone. Super helpful and friendly staff, a real asset to the hotel.perfect location, very easy to walk to main attractions, and areas of Hanoi.

Only minor point we felt breakfast hours could be to 10am rather than 9.30, although staff were very happy to get you bits and bobs if service was finished.

Great place to stay when visiting Hanoi

Staff is very friendly and will help you with anything you need. Location is in the middle of old town so almost everything is just a small walk away.

Great location and good sized family room

We had the family room which had plenty of room. Great location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi

Our apartment overlooked the road so was a bit noisy but settled around 10pm so not too bad

Great value oasis in the midst of Hanoi chaos.

Excellent large room 201 in lovely boutique hotel, with lovely feel. Central old town 5 minutes walk to Siem Lake. Big efficient walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast, will cook eggs as you want. The staff are just lovely.

Good and comfy

The location is great, very close to everything. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The floor mat in the bathroom looked dirty with a lot of brown stains and there were lots of hairs in the bathroom.

Very nice great location

Staff are excellent and very caring. Room very clean and hotel is in a great location easy to walk everywhere. Great value. Breakfast is simple but adequate. In the spa I had the best massage I’ve ever had.

I Will Be Back!

The experience- the staff, it's everyone from reception to bell boy to waitress, etc. It's the personal touch we didn't get in the other hotels we stayed before. They found out we were going to SAPA, took the trouble to write down a list of things we should do, what to eat etc. Amazing. The staff like Chu, Chi, Lily, Mary etc etc. They are simply Awesome.

Good hotel, but there are still some areas for improvement. I would say more a 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel

We were in room 301 (junior suite) and there was plenty of space.

It is quite warm in the room, because in the afternoon the sun is full in the room and the air conditioning is not powerful enough to cool this room. The neighbors were also busy with carpentry in the night of 11 to 12 October. Which the hotel can't do anything about but is a strange time to do this. There were some stains on the duvet.

Great value and location, paired with very friendly staff

They checked us in at almost 3 am. as our flight got delayed. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great location in the heart of the old town. Can very much recommend it.

Great choice.

The breakfast was good. The location is very convenient, you can find famous foods easily near the hotel and you just need to walk. Room was clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and supportive. This is the 2nd time I stay at this hotel. Next time, I will also stay here.

Emplacement idéal Personnel disponible et serviable Spa sur place sympathique

Chambre sans fenêtre avec baie vitrée qui donne sur le couloir et ceci n’est pas vraiment précisé lors de la réservation Nous avons vu un cafard dans la salle de bain Peu de variété au petit déjeuner Le personnel du spa demande expressément des tips (on allait bien sûr en donner mais le fait que la personne attende à côté le temps que l’on paye la prestation enlève un peu d’authenticité)

A comfortable boutique hotel close to the centre of the old town of Hanoi

The hotel provided a good breakfast. Some a la carte options, e.g. eggs/omelets, various flavours pancakes made to order. The hotel had nice rooms - some of which faced into a pretty internal light-well. The staff were very helpful and friendly on arrival - after staying for a day, they knew us and said hello.

People smoking outside at the entrance to the hotel meant that you needed to walk through smoke. Unfortunately, this is prevalent in SE Asia, so the Bablyon Hotel is not alone here. It would be much better if people had to smoke on the street.

Great start to our holiday in Vietnam!

Friendly staff! They helped with airport transfers, setting up a SIM card & organising food tour. We loved Miss Lily and the gentleman on the door - very attentive!

Hotel correcto ubicado en pleno centro histórico de Hanoi y a distancia caminable de las principales atracciones turísticas. Tiene un desayuno aceptable y una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Personal muy amable que nos ayudó a reservar excursiones y comprar una tarjeta SIM!

Excellent and we went and booked an extra 2 days

We have travelled to a great deal of hotel, both 5 star and budget and the service at the Babylon was the best we have come across. The staff were incredibly helpful and made a point of taking time to ask you about your day. They have obviously been well picked and trained

I could fault this hotel except the lack of black tea but :-)
