The staff are exceptional. The lady at check in deserves special mention.......thorough and very customer focused.
This is a quirky hotel in terms of layout.
There is a huge estate of Bank HQs nearby.It is in a parkland setting and affords a pleasant walk.
High volume of traffic noise from nearby,busy dual carriageway.
Although, this gives easy routes for onward travel.

All of the staff were so welcoming , the room was lovely
We ate in the evening and our server (Mark) was brilliant, so attentive and the food was really good

The staff were very friendly. Very good breakfast with a wide offering of English and continental selections. The room was spacious and had air conditioning, though only centrally controlled by staff.
The carpet smelt of pet poo and wee. The corridors were especially horrendously smelly. The room was not clean with cobwebs everywhere. Staff changed towels but didn't clean the bathroom throughout my 3-night stay. Similarly, staff did not wash glasses and tea/coffee cups. To say the least, the hotel hygiene was poor.
