Breakfast was quick to arrive and plentiful, with tea and coffee refills. The pub was always busy and felt a homely and comforting place

Lovely place to stay. The dining area is great with lots of options from small and large parties – we had family join us on the second evening. Good food and friendly staff. The room was pretty but upgrade if you would like a little more space.

The staff
The ambiance
The room was terrible.
Electrical connection to the radiator was exposed next to the toilet.
One ceiling light was pushed into the ceiling.
The shower head would not stay in place.
The shower door did not seal against the bath and therefore the floor ended up covered in water.
A latch on one window was off.
The general decorative standard was very poor .
The room I ad was very small.
