The pub/hotel is located in the centre of a vibrant part of the historic town. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast 10/10

Our room although not overly large seemed spaceous and the bathroom a delight. Dinner fantastic, breakfast exceptional (my scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection) location was very central.
Parking...it was dificult to find as we had never been to Knutsford before and jolly old satnav sends you to the front of the property.

The location was great for walking around the town. The parking was free and easy to access. we checked in for 2 days stay but advise from reception was to re book the parking if we left the location. The breakfast was very slow. It took 45 minutes to get a round of toast and a breakfast muffin. There were only a small number of diners when we had breakfast. The serv choice of self service was limited. The room was on the top floor and was tired and needed a good refresh. Also the room was very hot but the heating wasnt on. If the window was opened the noise of aircraft was too loud.
location is on the flight path from Manchester airport so much background noise. The room was trired and needed an upgrade. It was clean but had a musty smell. The tea,coffe and sugar was ok but would rather have less and better quality . bottled water was probably provided as the tap water had a strange taste. Also the water pressure was very low. Having good mobility is essential as the hotel has numerous steps and the shower was over the bath. .
