I wasn’t aware of how to leave the property I needed to back at car for 8:15 and ended up having to leave through fire exit - which was quite stressful only after I had left did I get a message telling me of the correct exit way !!

Asa was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet even though it was close to the main streets. We arrived early so we were able to get a parking spot.
When we booked we thought the rooms were on the ground floor but we ended up having to go up very steep narrow stairs to the top of the building. Both of us are well into our seventies and it was a hike for us so we didn’t bother going down to the bar as we couldn’t face the walk back up again.

It's right in the center of Knutsford and easy access to all of the restaurants and activities in that area. Walking distance to Tatton Park. I stayed there for two weeks for work and I had a lovely time. Nigel, the owner, was a delight and super attentive. Would absolutely recommend!
I would've liked housekeeping to come a bit more often, although I'm sure if I had asked they would've been willing to.

The location was perfect until the email arrived the night before to say I couldn’t park in the car park as I would not be able to leave it in the morning due to a monthly event. This was a real problem for me as I have an illness that means I can’t carry weight. So the car park of a hotel (which was listed as a facility when I booked) was essential. Instead I had to carry three bags from the alternative car park to the hotel. As I took my dog, I had her kit to carry too. I even spoke to someone before I arrived by phone about my booking and they did not mention it. Had they told me, I would not have booked this hotel.
The bedding smelt of stale beer. It was rank! The pillow was stained. The internal door to the room was so hard to open. I could barely push it open. It was not ideal again because I have a condition that means I am not as strong as I was. I would say the door needs adjustment as it would be hard to get out in an emergency. The towels were new but unwashed. So they did not dry very well. Also they left white cotton bobbles everywhere. The tray the coffee and tea and kettle was on was stained and had not been wiped. I did not like the short notice once my payment was processed about the car park not being available. This was a major issue for me and I would not have booked this hotel if I had known the car park would not be accessible. I need an accessible car park when I travel.
