I like the service and the friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner are very delicious. I like the ambiance and the cleanliness. Privacy and the landscape. It's a relaxing place.

This is my AKL home.

Buffet breakfast. Parking is a breeze. Drive is accessible to about anywhere...city...airport.....malls....restaurants. Room is comfy. Tv channels galore. And that robot vacuum, feels like the hotel is always clean.

Bien sûr le papier mais pas en réalité, déçu

L’emplacement, la propreté, le repas était bon,

Nous avons réservé cette hôtel car il y avait un buffet de prévus le soir et à notre arrivé on nous a indiqué qu’il y avait pas le soir même, il manqué 3 pied à notre lit (j’ai les photos) le lit était complètement bancale, nous étions 4 dans la chambre et nous avions que 2 serviettes, nous sommes allé mangé au bar de l’hôtel vu que le buffet était fermé, mais pendant le repas un personnel nettoyait le sol avec une machine très très bruyante nous ne nous entendions même pas parler à la même table. J’ai du me lever et demander à l’accueil de lui demander d’arrêter. Je trouve ça dommage qu’aucun employé n’y ai pensé Dans l’ensemble j’ai été déçu Nous avons été dérangé pendant plus d’une heure pendant la nuit par des clients cédant énormément de bruit dans les couloirs, parlant fort, claquant les portes etc j’ai du sortir à 3h pour demander d’arrêter. J’ai été vraiment déçu que personne ne viennent les calmer

I ended up staying two nights beyond the two that I had checked in for because it was the perfect place to rest and recu

Beautiful garden and pool which feels like a little oasis - once in that area you have no idea of the busy highways around it. Best buffet breakfasts I have ever had

It took a long time for my room to be ready though reception had told me they hoped I could have early check in. I was told different times and had to keep going back to see if I could get in. I’d had a twenty five hour flight from the UK so was very tired. It wasn’t even ready beyond check in time at which point they upgraded me to a garden room which was perfect.

Convenient for 1 night stay proximity to Auckland Airport perfect

Close to the Auckland Airport for our early morning departure. Good meals available and drinks and small meals in the Rumpus Room. Friendly staff at check-in. Easy parking and close proximity to room. Pool looked lovely sadly we didn't get to use it.

Noise from room above during the evening. Guests dragging their bags on the cobblestones in the court yard in front of the Units (Room 1030) in the early hours of the morning? not sure why they didnt use the correct door entry. Some road noise but not excessive.

Good location for the airport but no lift.

Spacious suite.

There was no lift! I have never been in a hotel without a lift before. If you have heavy bags you have to walk up the stairs with them or ask the porter to take them up. The bathroom needs enlarging and upgrading.

Comfortable hotel near the airport. Good breakfast with gluten free food.

The evening meal options were limited and the yellow bus complicated. Take Uber and for dinner, walk down the road for 15 minutes to The Post Office Pub.

A good place for families close to the airport

Nice bar and dining area opening out to the gardens which are very nice. Room was comfortable and you couldn't hear any traffic at all. Staff were very nice.

Bathroom fan was a bit noisy and we couldn't turn it off.

Ok if wanting to stay close to airport

Proximity to airport and motorway to enable access to city and surrounds. They had a n outdoor pool and outdoor seating which was nice.

I had a minor maintenance and housekeeping issue which took multiple calls to front desk to remedy which I found frustrating. Staff were friendly and helpful in all other ways but calling up to 6 times to fix a shower head/request toilet paper seemed a bit much. The property was a little outdated but tidy and good size room. Carpet in room was heavily stained and air conditioning was old and dusty.

Make sure you eat somewhere else

The swimming pool is very small but at least there is one. Rooms are ok.

Food was terrible and very expensive, half of the menu wasn't available, including all kids menu while the hotel claims everywhere that kids eat for free. Ended up spending $60 for me and my 6 years old son at each meal for very poor quality. Staff wasn't accommodating for lack of choice and kids options. Rooms are ok, pretty dark with carpark view. Swimming pool is pretty small. Chess board is all broken. Overall this is very overpriced for what you get.

Not what we expect from a Holiday Inn. Average at best and not cheap.

Comfort of bed and pillows

Bus transfer was hard to navigate. Bathroom fan was noisy and wouldn’t turn off. Had to change room at 2am in morning. Staff member said there was no spare rooms but begrudgingly found us one.

Pool area puts this above others in the catagory

Needed a night stay with easy parking close to the airport this was perfect. Pool was fantastic for a quick dip for the kids, comfy to sit around and have a wine. Enough on the menus for a pub dinner (we didn’t buffet). Beds comfy rooms exactly I expected for the price point.

There was some kind of party going on and I had to phone reception at 11pm ish to complain and I never do that ! Sound does travel in this place.

Ok could have been better but we only stayed for a short period of time

Good location evening buffet meal was nice. Friendly staff

Room smelt of smoke, told reception staff and they said did you want to change rooms. I declined but they offered room spray/freshner but what was actually offered was cleaning spray. This did not make much difference. Guests in the hallway were soo loud and woke me and my daughter up at 10pm. We had to leave the hotel by 1.45am. Was under the impression that the hotel offered free airport shuttle but was then told I had to buy a ticket from self serve station and pay. The reception staff said they would be there early morning checkout but no one was there when we left. Had to pay for shuttle ticket via creditcard as did not have enough change to put into ticket machine. Was a bit disappointed in the communication of the staff. Guests need to be aware of other guests especially as its a airport hotel. Thank you Catherine Jones

The internet is good and i was able to work without interruptions. The food is really good. Room in service and the dinner buffet is for the win

They put us in a interconnecting room where we can hear the next door.

close to airport, free parking if required, restaurant, nic quiet room bi enclosed garden and swimming pool

Okay for a pre or post flight stay

Standard airport hotel close to the airport. Comfortable bed

We were disturbed by people coming or going in the night, knocking on doors and talking loudly in the corridor. Bar food pizzas were disappointing.

I was very sick on the morning of our departure, thank God i become better and continued to fly out.

I want to thank you for sending me support with the ambulance even though i didn't need to be hospitalized, you were all wonderful to my daughter who needed someone to help. thank you

Disappointed in losing the cord and having to buy a new one.

The staff were very friendly and the beds were lovely.

I left the battery cord to my CPAP machine behind and according to the receptionist it was not found. It was the only place the bag was opened and the cord was not in my bag when I got to my destination. There is nowhere else it could be.

Good value for money.

That we could leave the car for only $7 a night while were away down the south island for 5 days. That really helped especially with young kids! We simply took the shuttle to the airport which the little ones absolutely enjoyed.

I think the outside of the hotel needs a glam up.

Perfect for a short stay with family after a long flight to Auckland. Would book again.

Easy to get to from the airport. Very clean, spacious rooms, very family friendly.

As it is winter it was a bit cold and the heater smelled a bit when we put it on.
