Location, cleanliness. Polite and helpful staff
Didn’t know how the blinds worked and it was 1 am when we got our rooms so late to be getting staff to help. Just wanted some sleep!

I loved my stay at Victor's Residenz. It's right next to the station, which meant it was easy to find and there were lots of shops close by. As well as being easy to arrive and depart it was also very easy to get trams from outside, for instance to go to the Battle of the Nations Monument just 20 minutes away. The old town is just over the road so I could easily walk to the main tourist areas. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. My room was amazing, and incredible value for money. The bathroom even had a bath. Breakfast was very nice. I have to point out that my room overlooked the tram stop outside the railway station, and some people may find the tram noise distracting, but I love rooms that overlook the city at work and this was my dream of a view. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, which is true of Leipzig generally as well as this hotel.
I can't think of anything I didn't like, other than I didn't stay long enough in Leipzig. Oh, I've just thought of something, they have the capsule coffee machine things in the rooms and being British I would much prefer a kettle, but that's really searching for something to whine about.

The hotel is very easy to find, right next to Leipzig train station. Friendly reception staff, and large rooms with comfy beds. Would recommend.

Breakfast was excellent. Good location to visit Leipzig. Area did not have enough to keep us entertained for the 3 night stay.
Bedrooms were dated and in need or redecoration. Upgraded to suite to include a bath, but did not find the room homely and cosy. Found the room cold and tired.
