With a view of People's Square, the iconic Jin Jiang Park Hotel in Shanghai was built in 1934 and is one of the city's key historical buildings. As the highest building of Far East in 1930s and 1940s, the property was awarded Shanghai Famous Marks.

Ideal location, great mix of oriental and western breakfast. Loved the proximity to metro and various museums . Room views were fantastic and exceeded my expectations!

I enjoyed the grand style of the hotel from 1934. Also the way it was updated to modern facilities quite unobtrusively. The location is so close to the heart of Shanghai. The staff were so helpful, all of them taking time to help. I was sorry to leave so soon.

Lovely old hotel on Najing Road. Hotel was a little tired but great value for money and perfect location!

Clean with comfortable beds, and copious bottles of free water. Fabulous location.
It smelt very strongly of moth balls in reception (disgusting), and the whole hotel was very old-fashioned and needs a major update. The drain in the bathroom also smelled bad, which we complained about a few times. Staff were disinterested and not helpful.
