Fornalutx Petit Hotel - Bed & Breakfast

Great location. Lovely staff and fabulous breakfast taken on the patio. Rooms were large with a comfy bed and great shower

Communication was terrible. It felt uncomfortable sending my passport details on line in order to get the door code especially In these days of scams.

We enjoyed this stay, breakfast was done very well for a B&B. Well appointed room, cute private patio with view of the mountains. Only used the pool once on arrival. Self check-in/access to property very easy and well organised, good communication. Fornalutx is an adorable place and this property is well located in the village. Short walk to carpark.

The bed is very hard. Not comfortable. Not great pillows. A/C was dripping on the floor. Drainage in bathroom has bad odour when water running.

Very impressive view of the mountainside from the room as well as during breakfast and from the pool. Nice extensive breakfast. Good walking distance from nearest parking opportunity. Very central in the village.

Room was good quality but a bit cramped (probably a very old building). Have to climb 3 stairs to reach rooms on top floor.

Easy to locate, self check in was simple, and stunning views. The room was nice although a bit small. Fornalutx is a tiny little village but is stunning, it has a few nice bars and restaurants. The quaint bunting gives it this amazing feel. Easy to catch the bus to Sóller too.

Myself and my partner stayed at Fornalutx Petit Hotel this summer for 4 nights. The breakfast was lovely, with 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of cold meat, fruit and yogurt, bread and a pastry, and the staff who organise it for you each morning were great however you may still be hungry after you finish as it is not a buffet. Our lock on room 10 was very stiff, often fighting with the key each day, but not a biggie. The virtual reception was slightly unnerving due to a email requesting payment before arrival, and feeling it best to message on WhatsApp to ensure legitimacy . Upon leaving the hotel I received a message from another number asking to confirm our stay and requesting another payment. I messaged the hotel number and they informed me this was a scam message. So I am slightly worried about how my details are being protected. On the website a ‘packed lunch’ is not advertised at an additional charge so we requested a pack lunch for a hike we were doing. The staff kindly did this for us and we were not informed of any extra cost. The packed lunch consisted of a sandwich, an orange, a boiled egg, a cereal bar and bottle of water. Upon checking out, the hotel forwards your bill for anything not yet paid for the honesty bar. Unfortunately the 2x pack lunches made up of the left overs from breakfast cost €15 each. The views from your bedroom make a lot of this all worth it. The bed and pillows were not the comfiest and no small fridge in the room which I feel is always good in a hotel. House keeping had to be specifically requested using a sign on the door, otherwise the room would not be made up. Our towels were not replaced during our stay either. From the room, the pool, breakfast I wouldn’t say the stay was worth the money I paid. Overall a good stay just a couple things that that could have been improved, but wouldn’t recommend to a friend unfortunately.
