The food was fabulous, featuring a freshly cooked breakfast and an excellent carvery. Generous portions, no complaints whatsoever. The staff serving the carvery were friendly and so helpful.
parking an issue, expected to pay €10 an hour, room needed maintenance, eg, the toilet was loose, the tiles along the bath were unclean, the taps in the sink (the flow too high and the floor got wet. No bath mat, we were nervous getting into the bath for our shower. A shower only would have been better.

The Dalton Inn was very central to area we wanted to explore.
Breakfast was very nice.
More fruit and yoghurt for breakfast would be a nice addition.

A well-located hotel for anyone who's spending a night in Claremorris. The staff were friendly, especially the man running the breakfast service. The water pressure in the shower was great and the water was plenty hot. The room was very basic but it did have a large smart TV, which was great to have.
The hotel is somewhat dated and the hallways smell a bit damp. The beds were okay but the pillows were very thin. It was very loud at night as our room faced out towards a busy pub.
