The pool was great and the service was exceptional. The location was also great it was next to shopping, food, and the beach.

Exceeded all expectations. We stayed in room 147. Just above the veranda over the bar. The room was modern, bed big and comfortable, bathroom/shower new and clean. Great size for two adults and two kids.
I want to mention early that the air-conditioning was superb in the apartment it really was a life saver. The rest of the hotel is very very warm.
The pools were fantastic, shallow one with sides, and then 3 other pools all ranging in depths. All very clean, sunbeds stacked and pool area cleaned each evening. Pools all fenced off after closing each evening too which was great comfort when the kids were playing later on.
The food was fantastic for adults, we didn't find it hard to get something we liked. The menu changed each day and there was plenty of choice. The pizza was very good and cooked fresh. Pancakes, eggs and proper bacon all available for breakfast when ordered with the chef.
The evening shows were excellent quality but I would say a bit adult and a bit scary for younger kids. Excellent shows though.
The staff were very nice but some of the rules they have to enforce meant they got some backlash creating tension in the evenings.
The kids club was brilliant, lots of fun activities, sign in/sign out system, foam parties, chasing pirates, bouncy castle, gaming PCs with roblox on. Staff were extremely nice and fantastic with the kids.
The drinks at the bar were good for adults. Not everything is inclusive but that's always the case in mainland Europe. Mexico, Jamaica and those places do all inclusive much better.
Overall I feel we had a 4 out of 5 experience and only some of the rules I will mention below that didn't make it the full 5.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone with kids up to the age of 10t the max.
We met some lovely people and there was no drama at all from what we seen.
I would come back with no hesitation.
So the rules are true. For the evening meal and night entertainment the two closest rows are €40 per table of 4 for the front row and €30 a table for the second row. We paid on the last night because the grandparents joined us. We got one bottle of wine included with the table. We noticed other people getting drinks, pizzas and food brought to them but we never got table service. They were also awkward about us having a 5th normal chair for my 5 year old to eat... they expected him to sit on a kids chair at a full height table (there's are the stupid rules that spoil it). One evening i wheeled my two year old into a free space in a push chair at the side of the tables.. they would not let me or my partner sit in a chair next to her. They wanted us to kneel down for 1 hour and 30 minutes or leave her in the chair and sit 5 meters back. Bare in mind there was no one behind us and lots of space.
The food for kids was hit and miss. Not always chicken nuggets available just to cover the gap for kids like my 5 year old who doesn't have a great variety in his pallet. The chips were good though and the pizza.
The ice-cream situation. Free ice cream with lunch and dinner. €4 for a magnum outside of those hours. Again this is something I have seen in mainland Europe before. Fresh popcorn available for a few euro should just be included.
It was mostly silly rules that took a little edge off a fantastic experience.

The pool area is wonderful for kids and the staff are excellent. The entertainment team was second to none I have experienced before.
The Good was band to the point I could not eat It and got a 36 hour stomach flu and the all inclusive drinks were not good.

Animation team is amazing and tried their best to organise activities for kids and adults despite changing weather. Hotel service is good as well and all people are polite and helpful.
Hotel is dated and would require renovation. Our room wasn't clean, bathroom had wallpaper hanging from the ceiling and many cracks in the wall probably because of old water leaks. Kitchen amenities are dated and require replacement. We found cockroach in the bathroom one day. Food average, myself and my wife we've got food poisoning at some stage and we only ate in the hotel.
