I loved its central location and the really helpful staff who responded promptly to my questions. Wolfgang in reception was particularly helpful. He explained where to park when we arrived and told us about the outstanding son et lumière at Chartres Cathedral.
We enjoyed dinner at Le George, especially the soufflé and the wine pairing.
The breakfast room is very cramped. No Nespresso machine in the room.

The bedrooms were lovely and the breakfast was very good. The staff were terrific.
The common areas needed some attention… the stairs and the surfaces of the furniture in the halls

Nice historical building - Excellent location - Spa facilities accessible - Vintage design - Staff available - Public parking very close - Historical center only a few hundreds meter away.
Room extremely small - Bed linen had a severe hole in them, very visible (I have picture of that if proof required) - Hotel parking not exactly next to the building - the shower glass door was not the right fit so the water spilled all over the tiny bathroom and it is really unavoidable - Room not very sound proof (room 205), you can easily hear (nearly feel) the person walking one level above the bedroom.
