Very well renovated . Rooms are comfortable . Staff are friendly
Food serving may take a little longer time than expected . The speed could be due to where I came from Singapore which is a faster pace city .
Staff should also write down what the guests asked for , twin they forgot to follow up with coffee . It may seem trivial end up ordering twice

A gorgeous heritage hotel, centrally located on Malioboro Street and a 10 minute walk to Yogyakarta Station.
Our Deluxe room was located on the 8th floor with spectacular views of the heritage wing and garden and pool. I strongly recommend requesting a room on this side of the hotel as the view from the other side looked underwhelming. We were in 2826.
The king bed and pillows were super comfortable, decor was lovely following the recent renovation and our room and bathroom were always immaculate so thank you to the housekeeping team.
Breakfast was included and was varied and delicious. We chose to eat our evening meals in Wiji as there didn’t seem to be restaurants in close proximity to the hotel and every meal was delicious. We opted to eat outside which was a lovely space and in our view so much nicer than being indoors.
The common areas had been beautifully renovated with magnificent heritage features lovingly restored.
The pool was lovely although during busy times may be difficult to find and 3 umbrellas is inadequate.
Finally the staff were exceptional and so warm, welcoming and helpful. They made our 5 night stay all the more special and we can’t recommend this beautiful hotel enough.
