Very comfortable beds, friendly staff. We asked for a room change due to the noise and they were very kind and tried their best to accommodate us. Quiet, if you have a room facing internally. The pool on the rooftop is quite nice.
- We asked for a quiet room from the start, and although they had good intentions (placing us away from the elevators) they gave us a room directly facing the street and mosque, on the lowest floor. Malioboro is incredibly noisy every night with loud music and the windows are really not insulated so you basically hear everything as if you had the window open. They changed our room when we reported this and the new room was really much more silent, which made us wonder why we didn’t get it in the first place. However, we found multiple ants in the bed in the new room, and there was not much we or the staff could do about it. Because of all this we had a hard time sleeping well for the duration of our stay.
- The rooms were also not super clean generally speaking; we found hair in the shower in both rooms and there were stains on the couch.
- In the new room, the sink was stuck - the water went down very slowly.
- We also tried the breakfast which was nothing special, with dry bread/baking goods and not much choice.
Overall the stay was okay and relatively comfortable, but I feel like this is worth reporting as I feel many of these things are quite unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

I like the location. 2 minutes away from the Malioboro street. Room is spacious enough for me with a sofa, microwave and sink. Easy to heat up and cleaning. The bed was really comfortable. My room was at level 9 and was closed to the spa, rooftop pool and gym. That was really great.
All was good.
