We had chosen this property to be away from the busy central hub of TaupÅ. We enjoyed walking along the lake boardwalk into town, a walk of about 40 minutes. The hotel room was comfortable and clean and the bed was large and firm, just the way we like it. The bathroom and kitchenette were well maintained and practical. Even though the hotel was fully booked over the long weekend, we heard little noise from outside. We enjoyed our simple breakfast and well cooked dinners in the charming little bistro.
Just a heads up to other travellers, there are only stairs to the second floor.

The staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. We booked during an event so it was great to have local knowledge. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
We can't fault anything. Booking.com is making me write more... so I'll just say that it's a little further from town than a walk. But we knew that.
