A lovely and unique place to stay just outside Peñafiel, offering excellent value for money. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our room, and the pool area was perfect for the hot summer weather. The room was well cleaned and we had air conditioning and a small fridge, which were both very useful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations for local bodegas and restaurants.
The bedding felt a little dated, and the showerhead sprayed water everywhere.

This place is unreal. The moment you approach the village and see the castle on top of the hill, you will feel mesmerised. The staff was super friendly on our arrival, the little Spanish I knew helped us to get on good footing for the rest of the conversation. The rooms are amazing, feels authentic. The indoor courtyard is so magical, I could've sat there for ages (but alas, there was no time). The views from the rooftop are stunning, make sure you take time to spend up there! The hotel restaurant is also good enough, which is nice as you don't really wanna be walking up the hill back from the village anyhow!

It was very nice where it was located.
We were given a horrible room. Was supposed to get a queen bed but only had a room with 2 single beds in an awful location since the hotel was full. It was extremely noisy and the room very nice. The person at the front desk was not pleasant. My wife left her computer tablet there and we could not get it back. The service was not good. I would not recommend.
