Beautiful building, when we found the outdoor pool was very refreshing, great location for town.

Lovely hotel on the inside. Good food and wine . Great location to wander around the town.
The pool advertised was not open despite the heat. We had travelled 200 kms on motorcycles and were looking forward to a swim to cool off.
We are 8 guys who travel through Spain & Portugal every year. Unfortunately, we will not be returning because of the non existent advertised pool.

A spacious historic building remodeled to create a very comfortable, stylish hotel. The view of the castle is breathtaking, the welcome was warm and the breakfast was very good.
The air conditioning in our room was insufficient and the room was uncomfortably hot. There no facilities in the room to make a drink.

The area, the building, the staff & parking facilities
1.We were under the impression that there was wine tours at the hotel, as we thought the hotel had it's own winery but this was not so.
2. Even though it was 33 degrees outside the outside pool was not available. Told only available in July and August which was extremely disappointing, even though you could pay EXTRA! to use the inside pool.
3. Only had one evening meal there & we found the food to be poor.
