Friendly staff.
This is an event hotel and there is an event most nights. Although mainly in the area between hotel and tower, noise does travel! Walk into main area was 10/15 minutes along street. Felt fairly safe. Car parking although plenty of paid parking along the road - told to stick to blue line parking which we did but still got a ticket for 30 euros. Asked reception staff but even she couldn't throw any light on it. Just be extra careful where you park!

Beautiful castle within walking distance to the old town.
Mainly a wedding venue,
The wedding seemed to start in the evening although this didn’t disturb us, just no other guest around so it felt a little odd.

I liked the location and history of the building. It looks lovely and courtyard is filled with light and scent. Our room was standard and quote small but other guests had much bigger rooms so be aware what you chose as they vary in size a LOT.
It must be the most popular place for corporate events and weddings as there was something going on every night we were there. It was very noisy and music till all hours and we were right next to the outdoor terrace where the music was. I also hated the whole al la carte breakfast menu choice process which was highly confusing and un- necessary.
