Our host Maria was exceptionally helpful. The facilities were stylish and clean. The common kitchen was impecable and all the other guests left it like that after using it. The kids loved the pool, the animals and the playground, there was so much to discover. A short ride to Lisbon and a direct train to Sintra.

The atmosphere is very relaxed, and you can tell it’s a family-run place. Maria was especially lovely and welcoming, always available to help and answer any questions we had.
They’re also very flexible, which makes your stay and holidays much more comfortable. There’s a shared kitchen that guests can use, and you’re free to enjoy all the facilities and common areas.
It’s a great place to stay with young children, as they offer family rooms and extra beds, and the facilities are very family-friendly, with a swimming pool, gardens, and animals.
One thing to keep in mind is that there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. It wasn’t an issue for us, even though we stayed in August, but it’s worth considering during the hotter months. The house is also a little remote, so having a car is necessary for getting around.

Nice pool and grounds.(although didn’t use the pool)
Breakfast could be improved upon.
Host failed to respond to a text requesting a little earlier breakfast.
Our daughter left with clustered bite marks on her neck and upper arms…?? (She stayed in adjoining room)
