Beautiful little hotel in a suburb of the capital. Really nice decoration. Charming hostess who spoke excellent English. Taking the bus into the center was very easy (except for the ticket machine which didn't work)

We stayed here only for a night, as we wanted to visit the capital before ending our roadtrip. The location was great for our needs: very close to the highway, which meant we could easily leave after check-out, yet very close to a direct bus to the city center. It was the best of both worlds.
As we came by car, we needed a place to park it, which the hosts were kind enough to accommodate before our check-in; we just parked our car and left for the city center. When we came back, late at night, the room was ready, so we just had to bring our luggage inside, which was very convenient.
Moreover, the lady at the reception (unfortunately we didn’t get her name), was very sweet and polite, helping us with all necessary instructions, not only for the room, check in and check out, but also how to get to the city center.
The room was squeaky clean - hands down one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and the bedsheets were well washed and pleasant to the touch. The air conditioning was on when we arrived, which we appreciated because the room temperature was perfect.

Great little property, everything to hand with a local market up the road to stock up on essentials. Property was stunning and staff friendly.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The property was big and clean.
Location was good for what I needed, although it is not central to town.
Rooms were very warm without the option to control the thermostat.
Bathroom had a completely see through glass wall, so you could see in it from every corner of the bedroom - no privacy.
On arrival there was a problem with my check in time. I asked for a later check in 4 days in advance as I was flying in late. I received a confirmation from the property, but on arrival no one was there and the property was locked up. It took a while to find someone to let me in, and when I did, the staff (owner?) were quite rude. Apparently they would not have been able to accommodate a late check in even if they had known about it, which would have been helpful to know before booking. I'd advise the property to make this clear in their property description.
Overall this stay was just ok. I have stayed at better hotels in Ljubljana, so this was not great value for money.
