The breakfast that’s included is incredibly basic, but this seems to be the norm. Just be warned - “breakfast included” is not what most people would expect - just toast and yoghurt and fruit.
WiFi limited to one device per room is also strange - is a bit of a throwback to 2000s - I think for many free WiFi is just a given these days.
Snorkelling gear would be good - even for a deposit. I didn’t see any available but it’s a fantastic snorkelling spot so that would be a good addition.

Excellent location and beautifully maintained gardens. Fantastic staff, kind, friendly and attentive. Rooms were simply equipped, all you need. Hammocks between the palm trees, snorkelling gear provided. Great pool. If you can't relax here, I'm not sure if you'll be able to relax anywhere! Will be coming back.
Be aware that Google Maps sends you to the Outrigger 15 min down the road so make sure you've got the right spot on your GPS!
Couldn't get TV service so the TVs in the rooms seem redundant.

A beautiful idillic location right on the beach We were so lucky to have our own plunge pool with our beach front buree The room was amazing and we were so thrilled It exceeded expectations Very comphy bed
I am a light sleeper so be aware you have road noise as is close to road Earplug’s each night solved that & I slept really well Was totally perfect All the staff are so lovely and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need Make sure you take your water shoes so you can wander out as there is exposed coral and rock at low tide Par for course being on the Coral Coast Was fun seeing the fish swim around your legs
It is a small adults only resort which makes it quiet and relaxed So peaceful A little hidden gem Will definitely be back to Tambura Sands 🥰
The only thing that let the resort down was the food The menu needs a Fijian flare and they need to improve quality of cooking The management are aware of this and are trying to make changes to better train their cooks and step this area up Also it is a matter of picking the right things off the menu Pizza’s are good If you get a chance to try Tui’s Kokoda and Fiji Coconut Caramel dessert they are divine!!
The breakfast sides of bacon, eggs etc at $6.90 over and above the continental breakfast were huge servings and great
value All the positives by far out way this one negative!! 😃
