Location is fantastic. Very near to the Kyoto Station Hachijo East exit. Clean interiors and welcoming staff.
Our stay included complimentary breakfast at Orange Terrace Kyoto restaurant and it was also excellent. You could enjoy your breakfast overlooking the Kyoto station from your breakfast bar.
This hotel allowed us to store our luggage in a locker facility for free, for a few more hours after the check out - very thoughtful and we really appreciate their kind gesture.
Smoking area is en-route to the east wing. It is nauseating for the non-smokers but it is a minor inconvenience.

Spotlessly clean, modern, and exceptionally well organised for the size of the property. The complimentary public bath was a lovely touch and a genuine highlight. What really stood out was how easy it was to connect to the wifi and get streaming services running on the room TV — genuinely impressive and something bigger hotels often get wrong. Comfortable bed too.
The rooms are compact, but this was no surprise given the price point and what was clearly communicated at booking. It in no way detracted from what was a great stay.

Great looking hotel from the outside. Clean facility, close to the train station. Helpful staff regardless of the language barrier. Nice lobby, onsen was good, not great.
Just not happy with the room for the price, the room was tiny. Bike rental was expensive and a bit complicated to use.
