Relax in this brand new remodeled home with ocean views, an unbelievable kitchen, and a master suite to exceed all expectations. Wonderful relaxing retreat out to ocean views of the harbor and break wall with a setting in the peaceful eucalyptus and pine trees. Hummingbirds and finches zig-zag in front of you as you relax on one of the decks of the house or in the front garden with a cup of tea/coffee in the morning or your wine and cheese at sunset. It's always a wonderful time to relax and catch up with your loved ones, friends, and family at the retreat. Spacious three-story designer home with extensive comfortable seating ensures relaxing gathering spots in every area of the home. This retreat is ideal if you are a couple and would love to get away and enjoy each other and nature. A family that wants to relax and enjoy each other, a few couples that want to enjoy some time together, relax and have group means and most of all for a girls get-away. Hot tub on the lower deck accessible from both lower bedrooms. Gourmet brand new expansive kitchen enables enjoyable festive meals with views, music, and ready for laughter. Fully stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, easy serving, and dining plus an easy cleanup. Full sets of dinnerware, serving pieces, and glassware to ensure every meal is a celebration. The master suite on its own level has a large full wall of windows to ensure you enjoy the view. Newly remodeled the master suite includes a free-standing tub. luxury shower and seating area. Second bedroom with adjacent full bath with shower. The third bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom with tub/shower and dual sink vanity. The neighborhood is El Granada, we are less than a mile from the beach and Princeton Harbor where the live catch of the day can be purchased, kayaks can be rented at Half Moon Bay Kayak and Sams Chowder House (Restaurant) or Half Moon Bay Brewery (Restaurant), as well as Barbara's Fish Trap restaurant, are ready for fantastic outdoor seating - all by the ocean. San Francisco is 35 minutes and Palo Alto is 40 minutes. SFO is 45 minutes. Santa Cruz is 45 minutes, Monterrey is 1.5 hours and Napa is 1.5 hours. Great house near Half Moon Bay
Lovely, well-appointed house. Plenty of room for four adults plus. This house is not located on the beach, but is a quick drive and easy parking once you get there. Separated sleeping areas on different floors allowed for privacy. A separate office on the lower level was very helpful for working remotely if necessary. Well-equipped, modern kitchen. Easy drive to great restaurants both in and outside of Half Moon Bay. The owners were extremely communicative and very helpful with our questions.

This house is beautiful. Three levels with calming views of a woodland area. We came for the Thanksgiving week and found the kitchen, and entire house, exceedingly well stocked with the little things travelers need. Three flashlights came in handy during a storm and power outage on the last night. I would highly recommend the property.

We found this home to be peacefully quiet and comfortably restorative, just what we were looking for after our busy days of sight-seeing. It is very well equipped with all the conveniences of home, as well as all instructions for operating the facilities were clear and thoroughly provided. The owners were helpful and easy to communicate with throughout. We appreciated this home’s cleanliness and organization, and the views are spectacular. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful, restorative retreat in Half Moon Bay.

Magical house in HMB
My friends and I loved staying here for my bday. This is one the cleanest houses I’ve stayed at on Vrbo/Airbnb, not to mention beautiful and serene.
Annette was great with communication, and happily accommodated my requests for alternative checkin/out times. The master bedroom is beautiful, with a comfortable king bed. The hot tub is a nice extra. FYI, if you plan on getting around with a lyft/uber know that it may take up to 20 mins to get one.
I would highly recommend this house and would consider staying again!

Traveling from the flat lands of the Midwest to Half Moon Bay, California, could not have been filled with better surprises than we encountered on our trip. Days were busy exploring but it was such a pleasure to come back to suck a beautiful home. Clean, perfectly maintained, room home with fantastic views and amenities.

Our stay at the Tree Top home was very enjoyable. It had all the amenities that one would need or want. The no shoes in the house policy is a major reason the house was so clean. The security check-in procedure was very smooth and easy. The fireplaces added warmth and ambiance.

Best stay in HMB!
We are frequent VRBO renters and found this home to be exceptionally well stocked with every possible creature comfort you would crave to thoroughly enjoy your stay including slippers, robes, cozy blankets to curl up with by the fire (inside or outside, coffee pantry supplies, and plenty of linens, towels etc. That make your feel like you are home. We rented this home over the Christmas week, with our 3 adult children so we could spend time in HMB with our family that also stay in the area for the holidays. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to downtown HMB, and the owners were a pleasure to interact with (via text message) and even went out of their way to mail us our daughters makeup/jewelry bag accidentally left behind. So nice!
A few minor issues were: The neighbors were not very friendly and seemed to give us uncomfortable stares as we came and went over the week. Also there were a few oddities we found that you should be aware of when staying here.
The owners want all shoes removed at the front entry due to their recent installment of new hardwood floors and carpets. In general this is understandable since they are trying to preserve their flooring, but may not be realistic or easy to comply with if this is not your normal habit at home.
Also the owners have a small apartment onsite under the main home, and could be staying there while you are renting the main house which also may not be as comfortable if you are looking for privacy. They were not there during our rental week, so no issues for us.
I Think they live in the main house when it isn’t rented, based on their personal items, pictures, being displayed throughout the home. This also shows in the very high end furnishings and cooking and dining items, which are all top of the line (a plus for us since we love to cook). The only feedback I would give is that they have a home office setup at the bottom of the stairs that you have to walk through to access the 2 guest bedrooms and guest bath on the lower floor which was obviously being used with papers everywhere. I work from home too, but would not want renters walking through my office and potentially rifling through my personal paperwork. Seems like they could put papers away and shift the layout to use the space better?
Also, the guest room with Murphy bed is quite hard to sleep on. Perhaps a Feather/memory foam topper could be added?

Beautiful home away from home
The property is well-maintained. The home is clean, with lots of windows and natural light. It's comfortably furnished without being overdone, with ample closet and drawer space, as well as open counter tops and surfaces for your stuff. The kitchen set up is wonderful; something we appreciate since we like to cook. It had all the equipment, utensils, and dishes we needed...and knives that were sharp. The deck off the dining room was perfect. We especially liked the "no shoes in the house" rule since we're from Hawaii and like the fact that floors and carpets were very clean so we could walk barefooted inside. The homeowners had thoughtfully left a basket of disposable house slippers for our use--a nice touch! We also really liked the electronic lock so we didn't need to fuss with a key.

Amazing property!
Gorgeous home in the hills above Half Moon Bay, everything top of the line. It felt like a brand new home and they spared no expense making it comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a couple or family. Great kitchen and open concept for gathering or lounging on one of their two super comfy couches to relax and read a book. We especially liked the hot tub on the deck overlooking the eucalyptus trees. Once you arrive you won't want to leave, but if you have to, groceries, restaurants and nightlife are a short distance down the hill. Both the owners were VERY nice and super helpful. We know we'll be back for sure.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. I spent the weekend here with my daughters and granddaughters as we celebrated and prepared for my daughters beach wedding in Pacifica. The kitchen was a delight for my culinary trained daughter, the dining room was a delightful place for an evening before the wedding dinner for the small wedding party and of course we all enjoyed the hot Tub. The amenities are all high end and the little notes around the kitchen were both helpful and a little amusing to us. My only regret was not having an additional night in this beautiful setting

Lack of privacy: owners staying in basement
Nowhere in the property description does it say that the owners are in the building. It made us uncomfortable for the whole stay (8 days). We would not have rented if we had known this. Otherwise, the house was impeccably clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked all our meals there. It was just my husband and I.

Our family celebrated Christmas at this lovely home. The owner put up a beautiful tree for us, the dining table comfortably seated everyone and the living area was perfect. This home was like a seven-star hotel with top-of-the-line linens, bedding and bathrobes. The hot tub was always occupied and a highlight along with the view!

This home was beautiful and perfect for our Thanksgiving vacation. All accommodations were perfect!
We were in need of a nice home to gather with our adult children for the holiday. We enjoyed the cozy setting and wonderful kitchen. Cooking together is an important part of our family joy and this kitchen was fully stocked with fantastic appliances to work with. Our family was thrilled to relax in the hot tub, play games on a nice big table and take a short drive as well into town. We are thankful for the owner's who graciously left their contact info and assistance when/if needed.
