Absolutely gorgeous old Victorian manor house hotel on the shores of Loch Oich with the ruins of the historic Invergarry Castle on the same grounds. The staff were superb, from check-in to the restaurant. At dinner we were served the best meal we had in Scotland, retired to the library for games, cheese and port, and breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked for each patron.
There was nothing I didn't like. It was a little more expensive than similarly rated hotels around, but Scotland at that time of year seems to be pricey, so you get what you pay for. I was happy to pay a little more to stay in an establishment such as this.

The castle and grounds are historic and fun to experience. Staff were attentive and kind. Food was delicious. The rooms brought to mind a different time.

Quite and peaceful, beautiful scenery all around and the sheep in the pasture I could see and hear from my window was so beautiful
