I liked the quiet place, there was no noise at all. Nice looking pool. Lots of plants and flowers to relax your mind. Had a room upstairs with very lovely views from the terrace. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful family owners. Minimarket and a few tavernas nearby.
Good renovated bathroom.
I had a car so moving around the area was easy, Chania and Rethymno close enough to visit. The beautiful lake also not far.
The equipment is kinda old, the fridge and air con noisy at times. I usually turned off the air con for the night, because it wasn't that hot. But the fridge woke me up a couple of times every night for a moment. Dishes and tableware weren't that clean.
Terrace is very large, please put some table and sunbeds or chairs there, because it's perfect for relaxation.

Very hospitable family run place. 10min walk from restaurants in Vamos. Quiet and peaceful. Large room with kitchenette and dining area and a lovely patio area where we had breakfast. Every day the hostess Mrs Elaine brought us baked treats. We stayed 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Wonderful pool. We met lots of people using the hotel as a base for walking holidays. We stopped at a supermarket on the way from the airport for breakfast items and evening drinks. There is only a mini market in Vamos so stock up before you get there.
The pool is supposed to be closed from 2pm to 5.30om, The hottest part of the day. Effectively it's siesta time. Quiet time and we were ok by the pool and swimming if we were very quiet. Not good I imagine if you have children.

Hosts so hospitable and kind
Pool beautiful
Showers/bathroom need upgrade as was a hand shower with awful curtain round.
Bed very hard so used both duvets under mine which helped.
