A massive thunderstorm greeted us at Yamba.. it was fantastic. The after effect was even more so, as the sunset included huge cumulus and cumulo-nimbus clouds lit up with varying colours of red and orange. This resort is right on the water, so the effect was also reflected in the water, but the pelicans didnt care!?!? A great spot, and next to the collective fishery store. We had a great feed of mud crabs and prawns - in our room. Perfect!

Room was clean. Nice view over the river.

Not even close to being a resort. There’s no service, no housekeeping or guest facilities. More of a 3* motel. They don’t change towels for a week, they insist that you clean the room and empty all the rubbish or get a $100 fine! Hairdryer was. Broken.
